Since 2009, Willem (W.) van der Zwan has chosen Naust Marine to supply its Deck Machinery solutions for its ultramodern pelagic fishing vessel, Factory Trawler (FT) W. van der Zwan. One of the largest fishing trawlers in the Dutch fleet, it is 142 meters long with a beam of 18 meters.  

Naust Marine is pleased to announce its newest supply of an electric Gilson winch to the W. van der Zwan. Naust Marine’s Gilson winch with an Alternating Current (AC) motor of 100Kw @1500 Revolutions Per Minute (RPM), rated IP56, will markedly improve operations for the vessel. The Gilson winch is connected to a Retriever winch, for haul-back and keeping constant tension on the Gilson line. Naust Marine also supplied control cabinets, bridge, and local deck controls for the winch.
