Naust Marine proudly announces their newest contract with the Turkish shipyard Tersan. Naust Marine will design and produce 23 winches and provide its Automatic Trawl Winch (ATW) control system and other critical deck equipment. Naust Marine is honored to be providing this new pelagic vessel owned by Parlevliet & Van der Plas with a complete custom solution.
Methodically designed by Norwegian company Skipsteknisk AS, the ship has an overall length of 111.5 meters, width of 21.20 meters, and will be constructed to work hard for decades to come. This vessel is replacing the KW 174 Annelies Ilena, will have a crew of up to 60 people, be deployed worldwide, and fish for pelagic species i.e., herring, sardines, mackerel, horse mackerel, and blue whiting which will all be frozen onboard.
