121-meter Super Trawler to be equipped with Naust Marine winches and control systems

Naust Marine is proud to announce its contract to supply the complete deck machinery package for Viktor Gavrilov, including the Automatic Trawl Winch (ATW) Control System.

This Complete Winch Solution package includes, 50 winches, control systems, and other vital deck equipment.

The Super Trawler is an ultramodern factory fishing trawler designed by the technology group Wärtsilä and will be built at the Yantar shipyard in Kaliningrad, Russia. It is a part of the Russian Government’s investment program for fleet renewal and is being built for Russia’s Collective Farm Fishery by V.I. Lenin (RK Lenina). The vessel will be unique, combining the capabilities of twin trawling for multiple fish species, and incorporates both conventional winching and custom pumping systems to bring fresh catch onboard.
This ship will be the largest fishing vessel built in Russia over the past 30 years. The vessel is scheduled for delivery in 2023 and will operate in Russia’s Asian fishing grounds in the Sea of Okhotsk.
