NAUST MARINE delivered the 4th Winch System onboard the vessel Remøy owned by the Norwegian company REMØY HAVFISKE AS, from Fosnavaag.
Remøy has been catching Shrimp and Cod in the Barents Sea and the owner wanted to increase the catch efficiency by installing the 4th Trawl Winch for fishing with 3 trawls.
Naust Marine equipment:
- 4th electric trawl winch, power 360 kw AC, water cooled motor, for a max. pull of 68,4 tons and max. speed on shooting up to 138,8 mts/min.
Capacity same as in existing winches 3.000 mts of 34mm wire. With electrical spooling.
- Drive and AFE unit for this additional winch system
- Cooling system for water cooled Frequency drives
- ATW for triple trawling
- Panel and controls in the Wheelhouse
The functionality of the ATW triple trawl system were tested successfully along with the winch performances.
The start-up and commissioning of the winch system took place in November 2019 to satisfaction of the owner.
