Recently, two Naust Marine electrical Cod end winches were delivered to Fishing Vessel (F/V) Bristol Explorer owned by B&N Fisheries in Seattle, WA (US).  Each winch is driven by 55kW motors, delivering 15 tons pull from each winch.  The new winches are scheduled to be installed this fall, while the vessel is in a shipyard in Seattle.  Naust is confident that the crew and company will be satisfied with these winches, as they have already had experience with the Naust Marine systems and technical support. 

In 2006, the owner decided to invest in new winches and that is when the Bristol Explorer became the first in the USA fleet to use Naust Marine electrical Trawling winches and the Automatic Trawl Winch (ATW) control system.  We at Naust Marine appreciate visionaries and our customers that put trust into us to design and deliver the best possible solutions for them.
