Equipment from Naust Marine can be found in more and more countries.
Naust Marine has in recent years made considerable effort promoting its products in Asia. Now this work seems to be yielding results as deals have been signed regarding sales of equipment to companies both in South Korea and China.
A few months ago the shipping company Dong Won Industries Co Ltd in South Korea bought a cable winch and control system from Naust Marine. The equipment is to be used on board the ship Maestro which is operated from South-America.
The equipment was installed in Maestro in Lima in Peru in March and start up and final configuration of the system conducted under the supervision of a Naust Marine specialist.
Naust Marine has also signed a contract with China National Fishing Company (CNFC) regarding the purchase of an ATW system for the trawler Long Teng. CNFC is one of the largest fishing companies in China with 4 large trawlers, built in the former Soviet Union, and numerous smaller ships.
Long Teng is a vessel of Monsund model, formerly called Porechye. The equipment from Naust Marine will be installed in the ship when it comes to Pusan in South Korea in October. Local staff will be in charge of installing the equipment but technicians from Naust Marine will oversee start up and final settings. After that a technician and a skipper from Naust Marine will go fishing with the ship for a few days to train the crew in using the equipment.
Naust Marine is hopeful that subsequently agreements will be reached with CNFC regarding purchase of more systems from Naust Marine. The goal is also to reach contracts with other fishing companies in China, where most such companies run large number of vessels in many countries.
The agreement with China National Fishing Company is the result of Naust Marine´s cooperation with Beijing AMADA Marine Consultant Co. Ltd. The cooperation started a year ago and is already delivering good results.
