Due to increased demand Naust Marine is opening a sales office in the United States. Naust Marine USA will be located at 4816 15th Ave NW, Seattle WA 98107.
It is Naust Marine´s hope that the opening will improve service and facilitate customers access to information about the company and its products.
Two American trawlers are using Naust Marine´s ATW system already with good results, the Bristol Explorer owned by B&N Fisheries and the Northern Eagle owned by American Seafoods.
In addition to these companies, Naust Marine has sold its systems to companies in Russia, China, the Netherlands, South Korea and Japan in the past few years. The ATW system is now in use on board more than 80 trawlers around the world. These trawlers are operated in very different conditions in differnt parts of the world, such as the seas of Alaska, NewFoundland, Argentina, Chile, South and West Africa.
The AutomaticTrawl Winch (ATW) control system for electrical winches, has been in development since 1979. It has been very well received among those using it and its appeal is steadily growing as a growing number of skippers and ship owners are realizing the advantages of electrical winches over hydraulic powered ones.
