The ATW systems from Naust Marine have sold well in the last two years. Ten new systems were delivered in 2009, all to buyers outside of Iceland. Seven new systems have been delivered this year, one to an Icelandic ship. The systems were set up in ships, that fish from the Barents Sea, in the north, to Usuaia-island in Argentina, in the south.
Few Icelandic ship-owners are renewing their ships these days due to the economic situation and uncertainty regarding the future of the Icelandic fishing quota system. Naust Marine is clearly affected by this.
