In July this year Naust Marine delivered ATW Catch Control system and AutoGen equipment for the freezer trawler Gloría. Gloría is
owned by Úthafsskip in Iceland and has recently been rebuilt in Poland.
Naust Marine´s technology in the ship consists of
the ATW system and two towing winches (MAI-E/485/3700/34IS) from Ibersica. Such
winches and two cable winches (MCS-E/60/3600-11,2) have also been
purchased for Victora, another ship owned by Úthafsskip.
Naust Marine´s AutoGen system was also installed in
Gloría. The AutoGen system is an automatic control system for generators which
allows the engineer to set a maximum pressure for each generator guaranteeing
that the pressure of the whole system does not exceed a given limit.
Gloría´s auxciliary engines also have an automatic Start/Stop system and therefore start and stop
automatically in line with the pressure at every given time.
Naust Marine congratulates Gloria´s owners and crew
on the new equipment.
Naust Marine has now delivered close to 80 ATW
systems what are in use on board ships all over the world. The system has been
in constant development and is still changing in accordance with user´s tips.
The ships using the ATW Catch Control system range from 28 meter
boats with 1000 hp engines to 145 meter freezer trawlers with 11.000 hp engines.
